I’ve been using Beautycounter (BC) for over a year now. Becoming a consultant definitely has its perks, like being able to sample IT ALL!
Making the choice to use cleaner beauty and skin care products was mostly easy. I had to get over the fact that the good stuff, requires more money. But, my health and the health of my family is worth it to me. It was much like making the switch to organic foods.
After all I’m going to spend the money somewhere, might as well make it count!
Now, not all of my products come from BC but I make a very conscious effort to make sure the products I use most days of the week are SAFER and CLEANER. Same with our foods — not ALL are organic but I always try to buy the dirty dozen organic … and dairy and meats.
It’s hard to believe the number of ingredients that are allowed in our cosmetics here in the US. Only 30 are banned here in the states, 600 in Canada and 1400 in the European Union…
